10 The Real Truth

Jehovah’s Witnesses are conditioned, programmed, brainwashed into accepting all the false teachings of the Governing Body. They use a brilliant teaching method called ‘new light’ , which negates any past teachings, based on the scripture in Prov 4:18. This is the scripture that supports any change that takes place within their organizational structure, both spiritually and physically. They use no other scripture as prominently as this one when they capitulate and change doctrine on numerous occasions, and there have been many of these.

It is not unheard of for ‘new light’ to change and then change back to what it was before, which is plain daft. Would God really change things and then once more change his mind and put teachings back to the way they were before? Methinks not! But try arguing this point with the elders and see where it gets you!

Now do you see how powerful cult teachings can be?

Malachi 3:6 says:

“For I the LORD do not change...”

The Watch Tower managers would have us reason this way: God says that the sacrifice of his Son was a mistake and he’s changed his mind and going to nullify that sacrifice, but a few months later change His mind again and say the sacrifice was reinstated.

Okay, I am using hyperbole and being pretty ridiculous but the same method is being used by the Big Brother of the Society when it changes its mind with new light . The real truth is that truth does not change and the fact that the Society keeps changing things is a shrouded admission they were wrong in the first place.

It’s almost laughable when you look at their past statements on organ transplants or their vacillating opinions of whether Sodom and Gomorrah will be resurrected. Check it for yourself, the information is to be found in Watchtower magazines. I just can’t imagine Jehovah being confused about these issues.

Please ask yourself how many changes the organization has made in the past and question whether or not it is acceptable. If politicians changed their policies as often as the Watch Tower Society did they would be challenged relentlessly by the media and their voting public. The difference here, though, is that brothers and sisters are not allowed to question ‘new light’ doctrine. Isn’t that unreasonable?

It is a documented fact that the New World Translation has itself been changed by the Watch Tower Society. You don’t need to have a college education to compare their 1970 Bible (or their brilliant ‘shoot selves in foot’ 1969 Kingdom Interlinear Translation ) to their recent one of today and you will quite clearly see they have changed much (their new Silver Sword is even worse. Who’d have thought it possible?), especially when it comes to the worship of Jesus. Do they honestly expect people to accept these changes? Well, yes, it does work because their numbers continue to grow. Hmmm.... I wonder why people are taken in so much by false teachings...?
